Free movement of qualified professionals within the EU is a prerequisite for free movement of services, workers and freedom of establishment. The harmonization of the national law in this area is accomplished by the Directive 2005/36/EC and Directive 2013/55/EU. Directive 2005/36/EC and its amendments regulated by Directive 2013/55/EU establish system for the recognition of professional qualifi cations in order to help make labor markets more fl exible. Also further liberalization of the provision of services, more automatic recognition of qualifications and simplify administrative procedures were encouraged by these Directives.
