Object Have been researched and described echographic (US) signs of physiological and pathological skin aging. Materials and Methods Have been studied by US the dermis and hypodermis 480 cases (24 groups of 30 men and 30 women) of smoker subjects and/or with photoexposed skin and 40 oncological patients with radiated skin (20 men, 20 women). Have been recorded the thickness and echogenicity of the dermis and hypodermis on the trunk, forehead and limbs. The US imagines have been correlated with histological findings in 52 subjects. Results The US reports recorded increase in thickness of hypodermis and reduction in echogenicity of dermis with advancing in age.
