Rad ne sadrži sažetak.Throughout three parish churches in Donja Kaštela, inhabitants took great care of costumes and traditions connected to patrons and saints. In Kaštel Stari, parish church is consecreted to Our Lady of the Rosary and was built in 1971. Every year on this patron celebration day locals and their guests attend holy mass and procession throughout settlement. Before today's parish church was built, local believers had attended the old parish church of St. John the Baptist. Inside the old parish church, body remains of St. Felicio are kept in a bier situated on the northern altar. At the end of August, priest ceremoniously opens the bier of this saint and everyone has an opportunity to pray for their own needs. Today's parish church of Kaštel Štafilić is consecrated to Immaculate Conception of Blessed Virgin Mary. Along this Marian devotion the people of Kaštel Štafilić also worship Our Lady of Carmel whose statue is situated on the eastern church wall. On the celebration day in July, people of Štafilić carry this statue in procession. Except these two mentioned devotions, St. Onofrio and St. Lucy are worshipped as well. Unlike nearby settlements, the main patron in Kaštel Novi is St. Peter. The parish church of St. Peter is situated near the remains of former St. Peter of Klobučac's monestary. Traditionally, in this parish church people of Kaštel Novi also worship St. Fabian and Sebastian, and St. Roco whose wooden statue is situated in a small nearby church. Special importance to people of Kaštel Novi has Our Lady of Stomorija whose icon was transferred from medieval village Špiljan to parish church. Every year in procession from Kaštel Novi to medieval village at the foot of mountain Kozjak, believers transfer Our Lady of Stomorija's icon. It returns back to parish church on August 16th, on the St. Roco's celebration day
