CIGS und CZTS Verbindungen werden als Lichtabsorbermaterialien in effiziente und kostengünstige Dünnschichtsolarzellen weithin akzeptiert. Zur weiteren Steigerung der Effizienz von CIGSe und CZTSe Dünnfilmvorrichtungen ist es äußerst wichtig, die Auswirkungen diverser Defekte in diesen Materialien zu verstehen. Da die experimentellen Untersuchungen oft von der Komplexität dieser Vorrichtungen behindert werden, wurde in dieser Arbeit eine detaillierte Studie durchgeführt um die Bildungsenergien und Aktivierungsenergien der alkalischen Verunreinigungen in CuInSe2 (die Masse CIGSe Absorberschicht ), CuIn5Se8 (der Cu-arme geordnete Vakanz-Verbindung) und Cu2ZnSnSe4 (die Masse CZTSe Absorberschicht ) zu berechnen.
