Messung der Massenzusammensetzun der ultra-hochenergetischen kosmischen Strahlung. Das Auger-Observatorium beobachtet Luftschauer die von kosmischer Strahlung erzeugt werden. Zum Verständnis der kosmischen Strahlung ist es wichtig, die Primärmasse zu messen. Luftschauer können universell mit massen-sensitiven Variablen beschrieben werden. Die Ankunftsrichtungen korrelieren mit den Positionen aktiver Galaxien-Kerne. Hinweise auf eine Massen-Abhängigkeit der Korrelation wurden gefunden
