LOPES 3D was radio antenna array built in Karlsruhe to study the benefits of radio cosmic ray measurements with vertical aligned antennas. In this thesis the setup and calibration of LOPES 3D are discussed. The data taken with LOPES 3D are analyzed and several methods to include vertical measurements in the analysis are developed and tested
