Movements are important aspects of human life. To maintain the control and enable skilled movements, the motor system permanently needs to adapt because the system\u27s internal and external conditions constantly change. Yet, it remains puzzling how the motor system manages these control and learning processes. The current thesis investigates motor control and learning of arm movements with special consideration of motor memory adaptation as well as its consolidation and generalization
