The impact of the working speed of towed pickers and combines on effect and quality on the harvest chamomile

Uzgoj i dorada kamilice na području Podravine (Virovitica, Pitomača) značajno rastu zadnjih godina zbog velike potražnje za njenim cvatom u zapadnoeuropskim zemljama (Njemačka, Italija, Austrija, Francuska…). No, sve učestalije promjene meteoroloških uvjeta u razdoblju berbe često predstavljaju problem, jer je sve teže cvat kamilice ubrati u optimalnom roku (kad je otvoreno više od 70 % cvjetova u cvatnoj glavici). Iz tog je razloga nužno koristiti berače i kombajne koji ostvaruju velike radne učinke uz maksimalno očuvanje kvalitete ubranih glavica. Kako bi kvaliteta ubranih glavica bila neupitna, uz visoki radni učinak vrlo bitan parametar je i radna brzina kombajna i berača koja, zavisno od svoje vrijednosti, može imati povoljan ili manje povoljan utjecaj na prethodno spomenute parametre.The cultivation and finishing of chamomile in the Podravina area (Virovitica, Pitomača) has increased significantly in recent years due to the high demand for its flowers in Western European countries (Germany, Italy, Austria, France). However, frequent changes in meteorological conditions in the harvesting period are often a problem, because it is hard to harvest chamomile heads in the optimal time frame (when more than 70% of flowers in the floral head are opened). For this reason, it is necessary to use towed pickers and combines that achieve great work performance with maximum preservation of the picked heads quality. Along with high working performances of machinery, the quality of the picked heads has to be unquestionable. The very important parameter is the combine harvester and picker speed, because it has a favorable or less favorable effect on the parameters mentioned above
