The problem of the electromagnetic response of a relativistic anisotropic plasma on the action of a strong plane gravitational wave (GW) is discussed in this paper. It is shown by the example of a beam distribution and a magnetoactive plasma that a linear electromagnetic response is possible if the anisotropy axis does not coincide with the propagation direction of the GW. © 1983 Plenum Publishing Corporation
