First United Methodist Church at the southwest corner of Sixth and Jefferson streets built in 1887 and occupied by the Methodists until 1903 when they built the new stone church on Third Street. Norwegian Lutherans next had the church from 1903 to 1961 when they consolidated with the Swedish Lutherans and built a new church at the northeast corner of A Street and Peterson Drive. Trace Baptists now hold services in this church
