""A New Methodology for Selection of Hydraulic Turbines"" was prepared from the results of dissertation research completed by the author in 1986 at the University of Idaho, at Moscow, Idaho, U.S.A. This monograph utilizing information from the earlier study, presents an overview of the key steps in planning and feasibility studies for hydropower projects and emphasizes a new methodology using experience curves for selection of hydraulic turbines. Information is provided for selection of conventional, low-head and small-scale versions of the conventional turbines.
