Krumpe, principal scientist for the Wilderness Research Center and associate professor in the Department of Resource Recreation and Tourism. Introduction by John C. Hendee, dean of the Collefe of Forestry, Wildlife and Rancge Sciences, and acting director of the Wilderness Reseach Center. The lecture opens with the story of Aldo Leopold and others who inspired the idea of wilderness in the United States.
