Rytis Romanas Steikūnas (bom 1888) had obtained diploma of engineer-architect in Riga Institute of Technology. He worked in Batumi as district architect, later he had been attached to Persia. Then he worked as a consul of Lithuania, as Lithuanian Republic started to establish diplomatic missions abroad. He returned to Lithuania in 1923 and worked as an architect. There is no information about him since April 11, 1940, when one of his latest design projects was signed. R. R. Steikūnas had projected one building of the bank, the churches in Karmėlava and Skardupiai, parish hall with cinema in Marijampolė, shelter in Eiguliai, three resort buildings in Birštonas, villa in Lampėdžiai.
