This article deals with the attributes of the special subject provided for in Article 163 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Lithuania. Article 163 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Lithuania stipulates that a committer of this action shall be understood as a person who abused the rights and duties of the father, mother, guardian or custodian, or other authorized representatives of a child. This wording appeared only in the new Criminal Code of 2000, and this is why it has not been studied sufficiently so far. This fact determines the relevancy of the topic.
