The peculiarities of security of the road traffic safety

The issue of this article is to find out the correlation between psychological factors and the direction of the traffic as well as to perform the complex analysis of these factors. The total number of participants of the research is 300; among them 79 female and 221 male. In order to detect and summarize the influence of psychological factors, two questionnaires were developed: one being based on the V. Vroom‘s motivation theory, the other is subjected to find out the level of driving skills in respect to the employment of these skills. The results of the research display the main problematic aspects in the work of officers responsible for traffic direction and common mistakes of the drivers, which directly depend on the gained driving skills and the level of the driving experience.Straipsnyje pristatomo tyrimo tikslas – nustatyti psichologinių aspektų sąsajas su kelių eismo saugumo užtikrinimu bei atlikti jų kompleksinę analizę. Tyrime dalyvavo 300 vairuotojų, iš jų: 79 moterys ir 221 vyras. Tam, kad būtų galima atskleisti ir įvertinti psichologinių faktorių įtaką, buvo sukurti du klausimynai – vienas klausimynas sudarytas pagal V. Vroomo motyvacijos teoriją, kitas klausimynas – skirtas nustatyti vairuotojų psichinę būseną vairavimo metu. Tyrimo rezultatai atskleidė, vairuotojų nuomone, pagrindines, kelių eismo priežiūros tarnybos pareigūnų darbo trūkumus bei vairuotojų klaidas, kurios tiesiogiai priklauso nuo įgytų vairavimo įgūdžių bei vairavimo patirties lygio
