Support on EU agricultural modernization

After getting the Independence back Lithuania experienced quick social, economic and political change. When Lithuania became the member of EU, there appeared a great possibility for our people and companies to use the support of EU structural funds for Rural Development and Fisheries Sector. One of the most popular trends is the modernization of agriculture. This paper analyses the financial support for modernization of agriculture in three EU financial instruments: SAPARD program, EU Structural Funds according to the Provision of General programming document of Lithuania 2004-2006 and Lithuanian Rural Development program 2007-2013
