Global economic crisis on the Lithuanian economy

Fear for the future, a feeling of insecurity, negative thoughts, transience - all these things fit into a single word of a crisis. Concern about the impact of the crisis feel the world’s most influential leaders, whose decisions depend on the further development of the crisis and national prosperity, also this impact of the crisis feel ordinary citizens, burdened responsibility for their families’ future. The article deals with the first and second global crisis, the Russian economic crisis, global economic crisis of 1997-1998 years and the current financial crisis on Lithuania’s economy. The topic will be analyzed in revenue, gross domestic (social) product (GDP) trends and the distribution of structural components.
