Motivation process and its change possibilities in time are described in this article. The longitudinal research was made and it showed students motivation change in the educational process. It was ascertained why the students with poor motivation start studies at the university and their possibilities to become motivated to their profession. While entering the university future student usually evaluates his capabilities inadequately when ranging studies programs for his further professional carrier. Low school finishing score brings him to the last selection.
