The article reviews specific issues connected to the age of adolescence, and discusses behavioural and emotional difficulties and personality features of teenagers living in foster homes and complete families; the article also examines individual differences. Comparative aspect is employed to analyse connections between conduct of teenagers living in diverse environment and their emotional difficulties and features of personality. It was found that teenagers at foster homes tend to display social and attention difficulties as well as internal and external problems, compared to teenagers from complete families.
