Vokiečių kalbos sakinių su werden-pasyvu lietuviškieji atitikmenys

The article presents an analysis of German sentences with the werden-passiv and their Lithuanian equivalents with the aim to reveal certain peculiarities of the passive voice forms of the languages in question and their compatibility. The comparison of the German passive voice structures and their Lithuanian equivalents shows that the German passive voice structures match both active and passive voice structures in the Lithuanian language. The German structures with the werden-passive most frequently match Lithuanian active voice structures of two types: ( 1 ) active voice structures with the subject and ( 2 ) active voice structures without the subject. The fact that the German passive voice structures werden + Partizip II quite frequently match the active voice structures in the Lithuanian language (almost 55.8 % of the studied examples, substantiates the prerequisite that the active and corresponding passive structures of the Lithuanian language, depending on the meaning of the verbs, can be synonymous, in case they denote a process. In terms of actual dissemination of the phrase the Lithuanian active voice structures with the marked word order object – subject can replace the passive voice structures with the non-marked word order.
