The relationship, input and output of 210Po has been investigated in the dissolved (0.4μm) samples collected from six stations in the Kuala Selangor River, where each station selected had a different salinity; ranging from the low salinity of surface layer water to the coastal oceanic water. The mean activity of total 210Po, which was found to alter according to the sampling dates, was noted as 57.83±12.26dpmL(-1), 22.90±3.21dpmL(-1) and 11.83±4.13dpmL(-1) for the samples from 22 May 2005, 19 November 2005 and 26 March 2006, respectively.
