Obsessive-Compulsive-Disorder (OCD) consists of two major symptoms, which are obsession and compulsion. However similar types of thoughts and behavior are also found among non-clinical subjects. In these cases, they are called Obsessive-Compulsive tendencies (OCT) instead of disorder (OCD). Currently, OCD is extremely difficult to be treated. However, if it is OCT among non-clinical subjects, it is assumed that the thoughts and behavior could be treated with less difficulty compared with OCD. With this hypothesis, treating OCT becomes extremely beneficial. By reviewing the existing OCD scales and its etiology, this paper attempts to describe three perspectives on preventing OCD
