Research on mental health training in clinical psychology for occupational and organizational fields : a trial to develop an educational program based on precedent studies and qualitative research

In this research, 4 studies were conducted that focused on training to provide better services in clinical psychology for occupational and organizational fields. In study #1, training programs currently provided by various companies were investigated through precedent studies. In study #2, the skills and tips that lecturers used to develop trainings were researched through qualitative research. And based on these results, in study #3, a educational program to provide mental health training for workers was developed and its effects were evaluated. Furthermore, the successful aspects of the training were discussed from the viewpoint of participants. It was concluded that a customized program is needed and that various skills are required to provide the program. Clinical psychologists should be educated to obtain the skills not only to provide services for individuals, but also for organizations
