“ Return-to-work support ” for employees with mental health problems is considered an urgent issue in Japan. This paper reviewed articles on “return-to-work support” in Japan. The articles include A)present state of return-to-work, B)rework program, C), D)factors that facilitate or hinder return-to-work, 6) potential for expansion. There are not many evidence-based studies, and evaluation of “ return-to-work support” is still developing. Employees have anxieties about the future. To support return-to-work smoothly, it is important to promote collaboration between internal and external workplaces
