Mídia, valores religiosos e concepções de Deus entre os estudantes da Universidade Católica de Pernambuco, Brasil

This article shows the results of a field research randomly applied to 300 students of the Catholic University of Pernambuco, Brazil, UNICAP, inquiring their conception of God and their religious values and how they are affected by the media. It appears that the representations of God are of a traditional pattern (God Creator, Punishing God) or of a syncretistic style (New Age, Pantheism, ancestral religious practices peculiar to Brazil). The religious values that have been minimally changed by the media over the family and school values.Este artigo é resultante de uma pesquisa feita a 300 estudantes da UNICAP, sobre as concepções de Deus, os valores religiosos, e a maneira como estes são afetados pela Mídia. Graças a esta pesquisa pode-se dizer que as representações de Deus nos jovens é tradicional (Deus criador, Deus punidor) e sincrético (Nova Era, panteísmo e práticas religiosas ancestrais próprias do Brasil) e que os valores são menos afetados pela mídia, em frente aos valores famíliares e escolares
