Surgical correction of pectus excavatum at present can be roughly classified into the three categories of:silicone implant correction, sternal turnover, and sternal elevation. And in recent years, sternal elevation has become the method of choice in most cases. We too have been employing a minimally invasive sternal elevation procedure developed as a modification of Ravitch's technique, with which we have been able to obtain stable results
