Analysis of variance is a popular and important method to evaluate the experimental results. In case there is a statistical significance recognized by analysis of variance, then a researcher tends to use computer programs for multiple comparison methods. He or she, however, can’t understand how to apply those methods properly. As a reference for those who need analysis of variance and multiple comparison methods, we present interpretations of the statistical methods by making use of some hypothetical examples
