We described our experience of several procedures belonging in intravascular operation (i. e. vascular IVR). Transarterial embolization (TAE) is effective for hemostasis of many kinds of bleeding. Postoperative bleeding, renal bleeding, and pelvic bleeding are representatively demonstrated. TAE is also useful for treatment of hypersplenism. Percutaneous transluminal angioplasty is able to dilate stenotic vessels less invasively than surgical procedures. It is useful for treatment of renovascular hypertension by dilatation of renal arteries, for treatment of intermittent claudication by dilatation of iliac arteries, and for treatment of dialysis shunt failure by dilatation of fistula vessels
