A questionnaire was distributed to 788 employees in facilities for elderly people in order to find out about the situation as regards dementia care. The questionnaire investigated whether there was any difference in dementia care depending on employees' attributes and the care level required by elderly dementia patients. An analysis of the results showed that (1) the questionnaire about care to encourage autonomy consisted of there parts : predictive power, environmental adjustment and grasp of individuality and while there was a bias in the distribution of high scores for predictive power, there was no bias for environmental adjustment or grasp of individuality (2) employees with many yeas of experience scored higher for environmental adju...
