This study is focused on combinatorial chemistry in order to prepare noble metal free catalysts for diesel particulate filters (DPF) and to test them using high throughput technology (HTT). Both methods play an important role in heterogeneous catalysis, since the impending stringent diesel emissions limits must be met and therefore the application of new catalytic coat for DPF is required. In this thesis three different syntheses were studied resulting in the sol-gel process using a commercially available pipetting robot, which is the most applicable for the catalysts'; preparation.
