Die vorliegende Arbeit beschreibt die Anwendung von Monoschichten funktionalisierter Cellulose-Derivate auf Goldoberflächen zum Aufbau von Enzymsensoren bzw. oberflächenverankerten Lipid-Modellmembranen. Die wasserlöslichen Carboxymethylcellulose-Derivate besitzen neben Thiosulfat-Gruppen für die Anbindung an Goldoberflächen zusätzlich reaktive Gruppen (MCT-, EDC- sowie OSu-Gruppen) für die Anbindung von Biomolekülen. Der Aufbau der Monoschichten aus den verschiedenen Thio-CMC-Derivaten auf Gold wurde in situ mittels Oberflächenplasmonenspektroskopie (SPR) verfolgt.
