Pelletization is by far the leading agglomeration technique practiced in Sweden and also across the world for magnetite fines. Magnetite pelletization provides an added advantage in terms of energy generated from exothermic nature of magnetite oxidation. Swedish steel industries pioneered in operating their blast furnaces with cent percent pellets.
