Pedagogisk dokumentation : I förskolan

The revised curriculum (Lpfö 98, 2010) has added a section on monitoring, evaluation and development of the curriculum. This means that each child development and preschool will be documented, monitored and developed. The purpose of this study is to describe how preschool teachers perceive and work with pedagogical documentation. We have used the literature and a qualitative research approach, we interviewed five educators who are all active in preschool. The results show that all teachers look pedagogical documentation as something positive and to work with educational documentation supports their work activities in many different ways. Educators believe that the deliberations is important to work with educational documentation and therefore consider them to reflection period has a significant role in the process of pedagogical documentation.
