This essay concerns the subject of women in management. Data shows that women continue to increase their share of managerial positions: but unfortunately the rate of progress is slow and uneven. Therefore, I decided to examine the barriers experienced by a female manager and how a feminine managerial approach, such as transformational leadership style, can be effective for organizations to reach their goals.
