The purpose of this study was to describe occupational therapists experiences of interventions for clients with depression. In this study, eight licensed occupational therapists, outpatient and inpatient care, who had experience of intervention in work with clients who suffer from depression. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with the support of a interview guide. The collected material was analyzed using a qualitative content analysis and the analysis resulted in three categories: strategies to enable change, adaptation of the activity and the group as a therapeutic means. The result show the importance of that the client learned new strategies in order to learn to recognize dangerous situations and reminder signals in...
