The purpose of this work is to study, understand and explain the concepts of power, obedience and disobedience. The study has two focuses. How power, obedience and disobedience can be manifested in organizations where people find themselves as employees. How power, obedience and disobedience can be manifested for people who are outside the labor market and in labor market measures. Max Weber, Emile Durkheim and Michel Foucault with their respective approaches have formed the theoretical base and analytical tools for the study.
