This study examines how financial control and economic objectives affect sport objectives andattendance average. It further examines sport clubs in transition into professional ones. Thehistory has shown that many sport clubs have been struggling with significant financialdifficulties. This makes it important to discuss more deeply if professional management affectsthe probability to achieve sport objectives. The thesis is conducted in Sweden asking the 109most attractive clubs in terms of audience. 87 out of the 109 clubs filled in a questionnaireaccounting for a response rate of 80%.
