Technical-financial analysis of the use of fracturing technology with liquefied petroleum gas in the formation of the moon of the Catatumbo Basin

An view of the debates associated with the advantages and disadvantages of hydraulic fracturing in Colombia, a comparative analysis of the Colombian Regulations is presented in an objective way, in relation to other nations that have technically proposed the use of base fracture fluids. liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). This allows to determine what improvements could be made to the current legislation, around the fluids used for the development of the fracturing technique. In addition, it seeks to determine the technical and financial feasibility using as a base fluid LPG, by simulating a fracture, making use of a fluid with analogous properties (Selected by a state of the art), which adapt to the geology present in the formation Moon; geological unit located in the sedimentary basin of Catatumbo- Colombia. Likewise, it is planned to carry out a financial analysis regarding the implementation of said technology, through indicators.Ante los debates asociados a las ventajas y desventajas del fracturamiento hidráulico en Colombia, se plantea en el presente trabajo de grado, de forma objetiva, un análisis comparativo de la Normatividad Colombiana frente a otras naciones que han planteado técnicamente el uso de fluidos de fractura base gas licuado de petróleo (GLP). Esto permite determinar que mejoras se podrían realizar a la actual legislación, entorno a los fluidos empleados para el desarrollo de la técnica de fracturamiento. Además, se busca determinar la viabilidad técnica y financiera utilizando como fluido base GLP, mediante la simulación de una fractura, haciendo uso de un fluido con propiedades análogas (Seleccionado mediante un estado del arte), que se adapten a la geología presente en la formación La Luna; unidad geológica ubicada en la cuenca sedimentaria del Catatumbo- Colombia. Igualmente, se plantea realizar un análisis financiero respecto a la implementación de dicha tecnología, mediante indicadores
