This thesis presents the results of two types of work carried out in parallel in the metamorphic formations of Upper Limousin (French Massif Central): a geological mapping of the northern part of the sheet at 1: 50,000 from St-Léonard-de-Noblat, and a petrographic and chemical study of the different facies, focusing more specifically on the essentially quartzofeldspathic facies of the North ("arc of Thaurion").All the facies encountered are part of a continuous series that goes from a schistose pole: sillimanite-orthose gneisses, to a gneisso-leptynic pole: the quartzofeldspathic facies of the Thaurion arc, in which are interposed basic formations of eclogitic nature, intruded by two granite massifs: Auriat and Aureil granitesCette thèse pr...
