The study area is conducted at Paloh, Gua Musang, Kelantan, Malaysia. The purpose of the research is to produce a geological map of Paloh in l : 25, 000 scale and determine the depositional environment of a sedimentary unit in Paloh area, Gua Musang. Both field and laboratory works are used to collect the data for interpretation of geology and depositional environment. From the interpretation, the geology of the Paloh area consists of four lithological units. The oldest rock unit is metasediment unit, followed by tuff unit, mudstone unit and andesite unit.
