The term remediation is usually applied to descriptions of the literary genres changes, especially in the analysis of the narrative transformation. In this article I use the concept of remediation for the analysis of handbook transformations, that could be observed in recent years. This genre adapts to the properties of new digital media (Internet, tablets, smartphones etc.). Hypertext handbook is non-sequential, it has links, controlled by the student-reader, not by the author-teacher. The result is that new handbook transmission is non-linear.
