In this introduction, the editors of ‘Sustainable Development Teaching: Ethical and Political Challenges’ outline the aims and focus of the book. They argue how the book translates state-of-the-art academic research into teaching models, methods and tools and thus aims to be a support for teachers when handling ethical and political challenges in environmental and sustainability education (ESE).
