For the Month of February 1971In February 1971, 1,485 isolations of salmonellae were reported from humans, an average of 372 isolations per week (Tables I, II, and V-A). This number represents a decrease of 133 (26.3 percent) from the weekly average of January 1971 and an Increase of 45 (13.8 percent) over the weekly average of February 1970.Reports of 263 nonhuman isolations of salmonellae were received during February 1971 (Tables II, IV, and V-B).I.
