Metabolism of minerals in sheep organism

Mineral substances play an important role in sheep’s body. The aim of this work is to determine the variation of mineral substances in sheep body during study period. The study was made in farm X, where sheep of Sufolku was grown. Data regarding changes and samples were collected from April to June year 2018 during the pasture period. 20 sheep were selected for this study. Sheep were collected according to their age and were devide into two groups: the first one 6-9 month old and the second one 3-4 months old. After analysis in “X” sheep farm mineral changes in the body revealed an increase of iron concentration in both groups. After first month sheep which age from 6-9 months iron concentration increased 16.92 % and 3-4 month age to 14.72 %. Investigating calcium in first group from April to June it increased by 11.78 % (p <0.05), and Group II increased by 32.25 %, averages varying, and are therefore statistically significant. When comparing calcium in blood serum between two different age groups (6-9 months, and 3-4 months sheep), it was estimated that 6-9 months of sheep, 14.98 %, calcium concentration higher than 3-4 years, sheep in April, (p <0.001), also in May this means sheep group II, 9.68 % higher than sheep group I (p <0.005), this means that averages between sheep ages variates significant. After investigation of Magnesium was found to decrease 10.81% from April to June in the first group of sheep and 15.66% in the second group of sheep. Also, the study showed that the I group sheep in April and May, the arithmetic averages differ, are statistically significant (p <0.05). In the study of serum phosphorus concentration, it was found that the concentration group II, P decreases monthly, decreased by 16 %, and in the I sheep group from April to May, it increased by 7.22 %, and from May to June, the concentration of P decreased by 10 %. After analysis of copper concentration change, it was found that the concentration of copper in first sheep group increased by 47% between April and May, but decreased from 10.87% in May to June (p <0.05), averages statistically significant. The copper concentration of the second group of sheep was increased by 10 % between April and May, and decreased by 6.03 % between May and June.7 In zinc testing, 6-9 months age sheep, the concentration of Zn in May to June decreased by 37.41%, and in the 3-4 year old sheep group Zn decreased by 20.87% compared to the zinc concentration between different age groups. 9 months sheep 16.31 %, zinc concentration higher than 3-4 years, sheep in April, (p <0.001), as well as May, zinc concentration of the first sheep group, 5.55 % higher than the second sheep group (p <0.005), averages vary significantly.
