Differently fed cows ketosis and paresis eteology and pathogenesis

The aim of the study was to evaluate different diets of cows and to determine the influence of these diets on the health of cows by the manifestation of ketosis and paresis. The tasks of the thesis, were to evaluate the energy and nutritional values of the diet formed in the farms, and to determine the influence of dietary substances on health and metabolic diseases. The research was carried out during the period of 2016 – 2017. Two farms from the Marijampolė district was chosen (farm X and Y) for the survey, keeping the dairy cattle. 10 dairy cows were selected from both farms and divided into two groups. The first: control, data from this study group are for comparison. The cows were selected on farm X. Second: the study group selected on the Y farm. The animals in this group were fed more additives with mineral substances during the study. The study examined the ingredients of rations, their amounts. Also the amount of mineral energy (NEL – netto energy for lactation) in fodder, milk and blood samples were taken to test enzymes and minerals: AST - aspartate aminotransferase, ALT - alaninaminotransferase, ALP - alkaline phosphatase, micro and macro element changes. The amount of proteins, lipids were determined along with the ratio of these elements . When the samples were examined, it was found that inadequate diets reduce the amount of substances in the blood much needed for the physical and productive systems of the animal. Depending on the fodder that the farms chose and the additives, the appearance of cow disease can increase or decrease. By using prophylactic measures and a balanced diet, the serious metabolic disorders can be prevented. The final work consists of 52 pages, 44 sources were used for the literature review. The work contains 9 tables, 2 shems 10 charts
