Euthanasia is described as a painless death and it raises a lot of various debates in the society. The goal of this paper/thesis is to analyze the cause euthanasia that relates to animals and to distinguish witch illness is most common for animals that receive this practice. Two studies were conducted to analyze this topic. The first research consists of collecting data from X and Y clinics about euthanasia of cats and dogs focusing on their gender, age and breed. The second research is based on an online survey. Euthanasia in the researched clinics was carried out in total 138 times of witch the procedure was performed 77 times to dogs and 61 to cats.
