Los animales, víctimas modernas de la inseguridad jurídica colombiana

Public shows with live animals have traditionally been controversial for the Colombian legal system. However, the thoughts of people and the authorities have for a while been shifting towards an understanding that a modern States must abandon any type of violent or unnatural practice that aims to entertain, as has occurred with the use of animals in circuses. However, the Tauromaquia has resisted this change, as well as the constitutional decisions in its favour. So, it remains to be seen how the contradictory decisions of the Court have “jeopardised” the protectionist future that in 2017 began to be envisaged for animals, so the absence of legal security in Colombia could revive this bloody practice. Los espectáculos públicos con animales vivos han tenido una tradición polémica a la luz del ordenamiento jurídico colombiano. Sin embargo, de tiempo atrás se ha ido modificando el pensamiento de las personas, y autoridades, para entender que un Estado moderno debe abandonar cualquier tipo de práctica violenta o antinatural con fines de entretenimiento, como sucedió con la utilización de animales en circos. No obstante, la Tauromaquia ha sido reacia a este cambio, incluso, existinendo decisión constitucional al respecto. Así, se verá como las decisiones de la Corte, contradictorias, han puesto en "jaque" el futuro proteccionista que en el año 2017 se empezó a visualizar para los animales, pues la ausencia de seguridad jurídica en Colombia podría, si más, revivir esta sangrienta práctica
