Throughout the history, Jews had to immigrate to Palestine for many reasons. For several reasons they were forced to leave their lands. For instance, the discrimination and violence that they suffered in Europe and in Russia, the attacks committed against them, their properties, their religious beliefs such as attacking synagogues, the limited work opportunities in Europe forced them to immigrate. On the other hand their own traditional beliefs also had an impact on their immigration. Because they thought that Jerusalem is the holy land especially old Jews wanted to die in and be buried at the holy land.
