G?nero e mercado de trabalho: as representa??es sociais das mulheres l?deres no setor banc?rio

In history, women have always been considered inferior to men, and because of that, had a restrict role in home activities and the raising of children, while mens held the house. In this context, the transformations of the workforce in the business sphere reflect on women's daily struggle for space within organizations. Therefore, this research aimed to identify the social representations of women who work or have already held positions of management and/or supervision in the banking sector, based on professional life history. For this, about the methodological procedures, this research is characterized as qualitative, applied, descriptive and explanatory, using as basis the Theory of Social Representations. The data collection was done through interviews with seven women who work or have already held positions of management and supervision in Banking Institutions, chosen through intentional sampling. The analysis of the data was done by the method of content analysis of speeches. Considering the results, it can be evidenced that the professionals begin their banking career in hierarchically inferior positions and little by little they are conquering their space, what culminates in the change of the feminine representation, for an active participation in the companies and not only like mother and wife. It?s noted that the professionals feel the difficulties of conciliation between personal and professional life, especially in relation to work overload, in the difficulties of conciliation of career with the role of mother and in the occurrence of harassment and abuses by the boss, colleagues and even customers. Based on this, the mother's social representations reflect on the constant difficulties of conciliation involving motherhood, which may have an influence on the decisions of life and the choices for maintaining a lower hierarchical position. Despite this, it?s noteworthy that women don?t perceive in a clear and direct way the difficulties of access and permanence in the labor market, perhaps becuse it?s a characteristic of difficult perception in our region, or perhaps, because it?s a phenomenon of difficult verification. It should be mentioned that it?s of fundamental importance that women's work be recognized, regardless of the sector. And that the role of companies is not only to insert, but to guarantee possibilities for growth and development, based on the desires and characteristics of each professional.Historicamente, as mulheres sempre foram consideradas inferiores aos homens e com isso ocuparam um papel restrito as atividades do lar e a cria??o dos filhos, enquanto cabia ao homem o sustento da casa. Nesse contexto, as transforma??es da for?a de trabalho no ?mbito empresarial refletem na luta di?ria das mulheres, por espa?o dentro das organiza??es. Diante disso, a presente pesquisa teve como objetivo analisar trajet?rias de vida profissional de mulheres que atuam ou j? atuaram em cargos de ger?ncia e/ou supervis?o no setor banc?rio, buscando compreender seus desafios, dificuldades e conquistas. Para tal, quanto aos procedimentos metodol?gicos essa pesquisa caracteriza-se como qualitativa, aplicada e descritiva. A coleta de dados foi realizada por meio de entrevistas com sete mulheres que atuam ou j? atuaram em cargos de ger?ncia e supervis?o em Institui??es Banc?rias, escolhidas intencionalmente, pela acessibilidade. A an?lise dos dados foi pautada na an?lise de conte?do dos discursos. Considerando-se os resultados encontrados, pode-se evidenciar que as profissionais iniciam sua carreira banc?ria em cargos hierarquicamente inferiores e aos poucos v?o conquistando seu espa?o, o que culmina na mudan?a da representa??o feminina, para uma participa??o ativa nas empresas e n?o somente como m?e e esposa. Nota-se que as profissionais sentem as dificuldades de concilia??o entre vida pessoal e vida profissional, principalmente no que diz respeito a sobrecarga de trabalho, nas dificuldades de concilia??o entre a carreira e o papel de m?e e na ocorr?ncia de ass?dios e abusos por parte de chefia, colegas e at? mesmo clientes. Com base nisso, as representa??es sociais da m?e gestora refletem nas constantes dificuldades de concilia??o envolvendo a maternidade, que porventura podem ter influ?ncia nas decis?es de vida e nas escolhas por manter-se num cargo hierarquicamente inferior. Apesar disso, destaca-se que as mulheres n?o percebem de maneira clara e direta dificuldades de acesso e perman?ncia no mercado de trabalho, por ser talvez uma caracter?stica de dif?cil percep??o em nossa regi?o, ou talvez, pelo fato de tratar-se de um fen?meno de dif?cil verifica??o. Conv?m mencionar, que ? de fundamental import?ncia que o trabalho feminino seja reconhecido, independentemente do setor e que cabe as empresas o papel de n?o apenas inserir, mas de garantir possibilidades de crescimento e desenvolvimento, com base nos anseios e caracter?sticas de cada profissional
