När musik och språk samspelar : Hur ämnesintegrering i musik och svenska kan påverka lärande och lärandemiljöer

The purpose of this study is to improve the comprehension of how subject integration of music and Swedish influences learning and learning environments, and music teachers perceptions of how this can promote pupils' learning processes in primary and secondary school. As soon to be graduating music teachers we see this as both important and interesting.The theoretical base is in a socio-cultural perspective, with a focus on conceptualizing language.The study is permeated by a hermeneutic approach. As a qualitative research method written interviews were conducted with five music teachers, as well as a more profound interview with a researcher in this topic. Phenomenographical analysis has been used to analyze the material.All the teachers who were interviewed consider working interdisciplinary with Swedish and music positive. This study results demonstrate that there are many promoting properties of this approach for linguistic and musical learning processes, as language and music are part of an undivided interaction.
